That's me and my Mum when I was 3 years old - just before we moved to Cheadle Hulme.

The different entries to the blog are my memories of what life was like in the 1950s. It's all changed so much since then that I wanted some way of showing my grandchildren how very different the world was then.

If you're my age and remember the time well I hope my postings bring back happy memories. If you're a youngster just have a read and you'll see why it's no wonder us oldies are all so mad!
